  • Cigarette Litter The Ugly Indian
The cigarette smoker is a large producer of litter.
No country has been able to solve the problem of cigarette butts on their streets. It is universal.
In India, this problem is magnified as most coffee-shops and pubs are no-smoking zones, and smoking on the footpath outside is the norm.
An Indian smoker generates 7 forms of litter – the butt, the match stick, the packet, the matchbox, the gutka packet, the plastic chai cup, and in many cases, a banana skin.
These small things end up clogging the drains and messing the streets.
No garbage clearing system is designed to handle this kind of litter.
