True. But people have died from falling into gaps like this.

When that happens, there is an outcry in the press, and various agencies end up blaming each other. It’s sad.

Maybe we just need an agency whose job is to replace open slabs. There are so many avoidable accidents waiting to happen.

Till that becomes official, we Ugly Indians will get down to covering any death-traps we encounter.
